Mil Palmeras Alicante

Where is Mil Palmeras Alicante - Mil Palmeras is a small beach urbanization upon the N332 and close to the AP-7 autopista, and is found midway between Campoamor and Pilar de la Horadada on the Orihuela Coast of Spain's southern Costa Blanca region.

The name means 1000 palms which probably derives from the many palm trees which can be found around the resort. This is a desirable destination mainly due to its close proximity to golf courses, clear and warm waters, fine beaches, splendid amenities and its fine weather.

On the whole a typical Spanish seaside resort and suitable for a quiet holiday in the sun. The beach has all of the traditional features such as changing area, volley ball nets, sun umbrellas, toilets, pedal boats for hire, snack bar, sunbeds and vehicle parking. The beach is surely one of the better stretches of sand along the Orihuela Costa with the crystal clear waters of the Med and clean white sand. Mil Palmiras beach is known as Playa de Mil Palmeras and it extends to a beach called Riomar.

One of the key benefits which draws vacationers to the resort is its awesome climate, enjoying approximately 300 days of sunshine each and every year. Although the winter months provide fine weather conditions, making it a popular spot for wintertime vacations for people wishing to get time away from the long freezing winters of Northern Europe, the warmest conditions are during the period of June to October and that is the time when the area properly livens up with vacationers from Britain and Spain heading for the town. And so for winter or summer sunshine visit this nice location.

Additional close by locations which you might easily take a look at whilst holidaying in Mil Palmeras include: Villamartin, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor, Torre de la Horadada and others. Reaching the town is simple, Murcia (San Javier) airport is nineteen kilometres by car whilst Alicante airport is forty five miles drive.
